Refunds and Returns Policy
Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused (for merchandise) or unopened and in its original condition (for vinegar bottles), and it must include all original packaging, labels, and components.
Non-returnable items
Due to health, safety, and regulatory reasons, the following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- ReemNotes Hot Pepper Vinegar (perishable food product, once opened or if seal is broken)
- Any perishable goods (e.g., food items)
- Gift cards
- Downloadable products (if applicable in the future)
- Intimate, sanitary, hazardous, flammable, or perishable items
- Additional non-returnable / non-exchangeable situations
- Merchandise with obvious signs of use, wear, damage, or missing parts (unless due to our error)
- Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Opened or partially used Hot Pepper Vinegar bottles (for hygiene and safety reasons)
To complete your return
We require proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation, or invoice).
Please do not send returns directly to the manufacturer or any other address.
Refunds
Once w receive and inspect your return, we’ll email you to confirm receipt and notify you of approval or rejection.
If approved, your refund will be processed and credited to your original payment method within 7–10 business days (depending on your bank/processor).
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t seen your refund:
- Check your bank/credit card statement again.
- Contact your credit card company (processing can take a few days).
- Contact your bank (there may be additional hold times).

Sale items
Only regularly priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale or discounted items are final sale and non-refundable.
Exchanges
We only offer exchanges for defective, damaged, or incorrect items received (e.g., manufacturing defect, wrong merchandise size/color, or damaged bottle upon arrival).
To request an exchange, use our cotnact form with your order details and photos of the issue. We’ll provide instructions and the correct return address.
We’ll cover shipping costs for verified defective/damaged items; otherwise, you are responsible for return shipping.
Gifts
If the item was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to the recipient, you’ll receive a gift credit (or certificate) for the return value. Once we receive the returned item, we’ll mail the gift certificate.
If the gift giver had it shipped to themselves first, we’ll refund the original purchaser directly.
Shipping returns
Mail your return to the address we provide.
You are responsible for return shipping costs (unless the return is due to our error, defect, or damage). Shipping costs are non-refundable.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service or adding insurance for higher-value items—we cannot guarantee receipt of untracked returns.
Delivery times for exchanges vary by location.
